Municipalities around Indiana County are gearing up for their Halloween events, including trick-or-treating times. Here is a look at several.

BOLIVAR BOROUGH

The 42nd annual Tri-Community Halloween Parade will be held at 2 p.m. Oct. 31.  It will form at the site of the Old Bolivar Elementary School along Lincoln Street in Bolivar. The parade will proceed through town to the Bolivar Fire Hall, where cash prizes will be awarded to the winners and treats will be provided to all costumed participants.

BRUSH VALLEY TWP.

Trick-or-treat will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 31. Participating residents should turn on an outside light. All children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

BUFFINGTON TOWNSHIP

Trick-or-treat will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 30. Leave porch lights on if participating.

CENTER TOWNSHIP

Trick-or-treat will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31.

CLYMER BOROUGH

A Halloween parade will be held at 3 p.m. Oct. 30, with trick-or-treat from 4 to 7 p.m.

ERNEST BOROUGH

Trick-or-treat will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31.

GREEN TOWNSHIP

Trick-or-treat will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 31.

HOMER CITY

Trick-or-treat will be from 6 to 8 p.m.  Oct. 31. A?parade will begin at 5:30 p.m.

INDIANA BOROUGH

The Kiwanis Club of Indiana is sponsoring its 54th annual Halloween parade at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 25.

The parade will assemble on Fifth Street between Philadelphia and Water streets.

Prizes will be awarded for funniest costume, scariest costume, best group, most original and age 6 and under.

Trick-or-treat will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31.

MARION CENTER

BOROUGH

Trick-or-treat will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 30.

MONTGOMERY TWP.

Trick-or-treat will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 31.

SALTSBURG BOROUGH

Trick-or-treat will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 27. A parade follows at 7 p.m.

WHITE TOWNSHIP

Trick-or-treat will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31.

YOUNG TOWNSHIP

Trick-or-treat will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 30.
