KENWOOD — The Kenwood Church of the Nazarene is assisting the family of Randy Patterson and Connie Overman, who lost everything in their mobile home fire Oct. 21.

Roast beef dinner
MARION CENTER — The fall roast beef dinner at Marion Center Presbyterian Church will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today.
The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 6 to 12.
Proceeds benefit the Church Mission and Maintenance funds.
A turkey dinner will be held at 4 p.m. today at Cochran’s Mill Church, 2571 Garretts Run Road, near the Burrell Township Fire Hall. The cost is $9 for adults, $4.50 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for ages 5 and younger. Takeouts are an additional 50 cents. For more information, call Doris Frafton at (724) 354-2010.
Fall revival meetings with evangelist Leon Foote will be held Sunday through Friday at Calvary Bible Church, between Deckers Point and Rochester Mills in Grant Township. Revival services are at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
After the Sunday morning service, there will be a potluck meal. Mrs. Foote will be presenting special music with sign language at each service. On Thursday and Friday, the Berkheimers will perform special music.

CREEKSIDE — Children of all ages are welcome to join the Puppets Take Center Stage ministry, funded by the United Way of Indiana County, at Center Presbyterian Church, Creekside.
The next play is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. Sunday in the main recreation room at Communities at Indian Haven.
Roast beef dinner
ERNEST — The annual roast beef dinner will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Jude Byzantine Catholic Church, Ernest. Cost is $10 and takeout is available.
The Rev. Henry Miller, of Woodville, Fla., will be the special guest speaker at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Cornerstone Worship Center, 500 Lenz Road, White Township.
Pastor Miller is the pastor of Victory thru Truth Ministry in Florida, as well as working in prison and missions ministries. Pastor Miller works with the Wakulla County jail and has services in Wakulla County Correctional Institute.
Pastor Miller makes several trips a year into the mission fields of the Dominican Republic, the Philippines, Mexico and Canada.

DERRY — The annual fall bazaar will begin with a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Derry First United Methodist Church, 311 N. Ligonier St. The cost is $6 for adults and $3.50 for children ages 10 and younger. There will be early-bird flea market shopping Friday.
There will be lunch along with baked goods, soup, crafts, famous flea market and clothing sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 2 in the Social Hall.
PENN RUN — A Pennsylvania Dutch buffet will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 2 at the Penn Run Christian Outreach Center, 75 Grace Church Road, Penn Run.

Bazaar and bake sale
PINE FLATS — A bazaar and bake sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 2 at the Morningstar Community Building, Starford. Proceeds benefit the Pine Flats Church of God.
There will be new and used Christmas and holiday items, decorations and winter clothing. There will also be cakes, pies, cookies, candy, bread, rolls and soup for sale.
KENT — A turkey dinner will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 3 at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Kent.
The menu includes roast breast of turkey and stuffing, whipped potatoes with gravy, green beans, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, salad, fresh rolls, assorted desserts and beverages.
The cost is $10 for adults, $4 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children younger than 6. Takeout is available.
Swiss steak dinner
ROBINSON — The Helping Hands of Robinson Evangelical United Methodist Church will hold a Swiss steak dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Nov. 3 at the church, 332 Mary St., Robinson.
Cost is $8 for adults, $3 for children ages 5 to 12 and free for children ages 4 and younger. Takeout is available.
BROCKWAY — There will be a Just For Jesus Challenge Homeless Outreach testifying meeting at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 4 at the First Apostles’ Doctrine Church, 14530 Route 28, Brockway.

BRUSH VALLEY — An Election Day pancake and sausage meal will be served from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 5 at Brush Valley Chapel, Route 259, between Brush Valley and Yellow Creek Park.
The variety of pancakes will include regular, blueberry, chocolate chip and buckwheat. Meals include beverage and dessert. The cost is $7.50 for adults, $4.50 for children ages 4 through 12 and free for younger than 4.
Takeout is available. Proceeds benefit the Brush Valley Lutheran Cemetery Association and Brush Valley Chapel. Everyone is welcome.

ARMAGH — An Election Day luncheon will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 5 at the Armagh United Methodist Church, Armagh.
The menu includes bean and vegetable soup, sandwiches, beverage and dessert. Soup is also available by the quart for $5. Cast your vote then come and have lunch with us.
KITTANNING — “Interpreting the Bible,” a 13-week college course, will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesdays, starting Nov. 5, in Room 9, Harvest Community Church, Kittanning Campus.

Art exhibit fundraiser
MARCHAND — There will be an exhibit of art created by Marchand-area residents from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 9 at the Marchand United Methodist Church. A bake and craft sale will be held with proceeds to benefit the church’s building fund.

All-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner
NEW FLORENCE — An all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Veterans Day, Nov. 11, at Faith Lutheran Church, 6810 Route 22, New Florence.
The meal includes spaghetti and meatballs, salad, green beans, Italian bread, assorted cakes and drinks.
Local veterans will be on hand to accept a free-will offering. Takeout is available.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Tomorrow’s Hope Transitional Housing and Service Center for veterans, 6260 Heverly Blvd., Coalport.
The Power Team will be at Kinport Assembly of God at 7 p.m. Nov. 14 to 17.
