DINNER: A spaghetti dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Elderton United Methodist Church along Main Street in Elderton.

The cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children 6 to 12 and free for children 5 and under.

SPEAKER: Author James Hollock will speak at the Apollo Memorial Library at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. His book “Born to Lose: Stanley Hoss and the Crime Spree that Gripped a Nation” re-creates the national manhunt for the western Pennsylvania kidnapper and murderer whose crimes moved legendary FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover to call in the army.

Hollock’s book was a gold medal winner of the 2012 Independent Publisher Awards — Best in True Crime.


REUNION: The Indiana High School Class of 2003 will hold its 10th reunion at 6 p.m. Dec. 28 at the F.O.E Eagles Club. The cost will be $20 per person. It will be all you can eat with drinking and dancing until supplies run out. Email: 2003iahsreunion@gmail.com for more information.
