• Scary Harry’s Haunted Trail will be open from 7:30 to 11 p.m. at Scary Harry’s Haunted Trails, 210 Long Road, Homer City. There are two trails, one for ages 7 and up, and one for ages 6 and under. • Smicksburg’s 24th Annual Fall Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday in Smicksburg. Noel returns to his hometown to confront the sudden death of his best friend, the wedding of his philandering father and the re-emergence of his one true love. Lively Arts hosts “The Brothers Karamazov” at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at Waller Hall Studio Theater, IUP. The Brothers Karamazov combines language, movement and a capella chants and prayers from Orthodox and Catholic sources to weave a mystic examination of faith and doubt.
