by Pennsylvania Department of Transportation on March 26, 2013 10:50 AM

The closure planned for Monday, March 25 on Route 3035 (Old Route 119) between Simpson Road Wayne Avenue for Phase 1 of the bridge replacement and road lowering project, has been rescheduled for Monday, April 1, at 7 a.m.

Once that work is finished, Phase 2 will begin with Route 3035 closing from Lisle Street to Two Lick Road to facilitate replacement of the bridge. The Phase 1 closure is expected to last until early May.

A one-day closure was in effect on March 25 to prepare for utility work.

A posted detour will be in place for Phases 1 and 2 using Wayne Avenue, Route 119, and Route 3056 (Old Route 56).

This $2,247,174 bridge replacement and road lowering project will be constructed by Gulisek Construction, LLC, of Mt. Pleasant.  The project is expected to be completed by mid-October.
