PennDOT begins sealing

PennDOT has announced that work will begin today on various routes in Indiana County as part of PennDOT’s seal coat project.

Various roads in Blacklick, Center, White, Burrell, Armstrong and Young townships and Blairsville Borough will see temporary flagger-controlled lane closures to perform seal coating.

Portions of Coal Run Road, Simpson Road, Rustic Lodge Road, Old Route 56 and Old Route 119 will be seal coated as part of the project.

Work on other roads will be announced as work on this project progresses.

This $1,499,998 project by Russell Standard Corp. of Pittsburgh is expected to be completed by the end of August.
