PennDOT to work on various projects
A resurfacing project begins this week on Route 403 in East Wheatfield, Cherryhill, Green and Rayne townships, and Clymer Borough.
Work on various routes in Indiana County will include drainage, patching and resurfacing. Drainage work on Route 403 began this week in Dilltown and will be followed by patching and paving. Drainage work on Route 403 in Clymer begins later this week.
Once all of the work on Route 403 is completed, work moves to one of the other routes in the project.
Drainage work will be conducted on portions of Warren Road and Route 711 and drainage and paving will occur at Routes 119 and 210. Portions of Routes 954, 217, 286, Fifth Street Extension and Market Street will be resurfaced.
This $2,796,275 PennDOT project is being constructed by Derry Construction Company Inc., of Latrobe, and is expected to be completed by October.

Nighttime lane restrictions controlled by flaggers will be in place on the Route 422 Theater Road project between Rupp Church Road and Lasher Road in Kittanning Township, Armstrong County, between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. as needed. A 14-foot-wide travel lane will be maintained to minimize the impact.
A temporary barrier is being placed to change the traffic pattern to facilitate the first phase of the work.

Beginning, Tuesday, one-lane alternating traffic controlled by a temporary traffic signal will be in place on Route 85 to facilitate the replacement of the bridge carrying Route 85 over a tributary of Cowanshannock Creek in Cowanshannock Township, Armstrong County.
An 11-foot-wide restriction will be in place over the bridge.
This $994,171 PennDOT bridge replacement project is being constructed by M and B Services LLC, of Clarion, and is expected to be completed by September.
