SENIOR OF THE MONTH: Bobbi Ann Pease
Bobbi Ann Pease has been selected as the Blairsville High School Indiana Kiwanis Club Senior of the Month for May.
She is the daughter of Robert and Alicia Pease.
Bobbi Ann participated in marching band for six years and was very involved in the theater department. She participated in musicals at BHS for four years, was a member of the stage crew for two years and participated in Dinner Theater. She was chosen to be the student director for this year’s spring musical. In addition, she participated in BHS Show Choir for two years and was a member of the chorus throughout middle school and high school.
Bobbi Ann played the powder puff football team for three years and was a member of the school’s first-ever soccer team.
Bobbi Ann was a student writer for the Indiana Gazette for the past two years. She was a member of “Remembering Adam” since sixth grade, lettered in marching band and academics and was listed on the honor roll all through high school. Bobbi Ann was also a programmer of lighting and sound for numerous concerts and programs at the Blairsville Performing Arts Center. Last summer she attended and graduated from Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week.
Bobbi Ann has been a member of the Girl Scouts of America for nine years. She reached the Ambassador level and for the past two years has been a program aide for a local Daisy Girl Scout Troop. She has achieved the Bronze Award as well. For the past two summers she has worked at Camp Conshatawba, a Girl Scout camp in Summerhill.
Bobbi Ann’s plans include working at Camp Conshatawba this summer. In the fall she will be attending Westmoreland County Community College to receive her degree in fine arts,then she will transfer to another college for Technical Theater.
