STUDENT OF THE MONTH: Emily Stiles

Emily Stiles has been selected Blairsville High School Kiwanis Club Senior of the Month for November. She is the daughter of Brenda Stiles of Blairsville.

Emily has been on both high and distinguished honor rolls throughout high school. She has been a member of Remembering Adam since sixth grade. Last year she was inducted into the National Honors Society and currently serves as secretary. She is also a member of Future Business Leaders of America and advanced to the state level this year. This is her second year as a member of student council, where she is treasurer.

Emily has also logged numerous hours of community service with many programs including the BIG Clean-Up Day, Comcast Cares Day and the Ronald McDonald House in Pittsburgh. For her community service, she received the Comcast Leaders and Achievers Award.

Emily plans to attend Penn State University to major in animal sciences, and she hopes to one day work at a zoo.
