ASHLEIGH CRAIG

Ashleigh Craig has been selected for the Rebecca A. Stoudt Memorial Scholarship.

A graduate of Hollidaysburg High School, she is the daughter of Barry and Leigh Ann Craig and the granddaughter of Jim and Sarah Craig, of Indiana, and Marie Snedden, of Anita.

A dean’s list student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a provost scholar, she received the Terry A. Serafini Outstanding Scholars Program-Mathematics Scholarship and is a math tutor.

Both of her parents graduated from IUP.

BREANNA WEILAND

Breanna M. Weiland, of Nicktown, Cambria County, graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in a commencement ceremony held on May 18.

While earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, she served as vice president of the American Student Dental Association and the Dental Anesthesiology Club for Students.

She was also the recipient of the Student Leadership Award and the Horace Wells Dental Anesthesiology Award.

Dr. Weiland is now completing the Advanced Dental Education Program in Dental Anesthesiology at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, New York.

A 2008 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown, Weiland is the daughter of RoseAnn Weiland and the late Kenneth Kline.

PAIGE SABELLA

Paige Marie Sabella graduated from the Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital School of Nursing on June 28. She is currently employed as a registered nurse at Conemaugh Hospital, Johnstown.

She is the daughter of Jackie and Mike Sabella, of Blairsville. Paige is a 2009 graduate of Blairsville High School.

St. Bonaventure dean’s list

The following area students, listed with their major, were named to the spring dean’s list at St. Bonaventure University, St. Bonaventure, N.Y.

Kayla Jasper, biology; David Paccapaniccia, accounting; Matthew Rochna, sport studies; Faris Zuraikat, psychology. They are all from Indiana.

JAIMIE WEYANT

Jaimie Weyant graduated summa cum laude May 18 from Clarion University with a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental biology and minors in mathematics and environmental sustainability.

A member of the Honors Program, Jaimie was inducted into the biology honorary of Beta Beta Beta and the honor society of Phi Kappa Phi. While at Clarion, she was a student worker in the office of the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.

She is the daughter of Debbie and Lowell Weyant, of Indiana, and the granddaughter of Evelyn Hoover, of New Paris. Jaimie is a 2009 graduate of Indiana Area Senior High School.
