Juniata College, Huntingdon, named the following area residents to the dean’s list for fall semester:
Indiana: Kevin Patrick Snyder, Indiana, son of Patrick and Erin Snyder and a 2010 graduate of Indiana Area Senior High School
Marion Center: Anna Pfeiffer Nycum, Marion Center, daughter of David and Mary Nycum and a 2012 graduate of Marion Center Area High School
Brock Matava, a management major from Seward, made the President’s List at Coastal Carolina University, Conway, S.C., for the fall semester.
Cheyenne Lynne Shaffer, of Saltsburg, has been named to the president’s list at James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Va., for the fall 2013 semester.
Shaffer is a senior whose major is psychology.
Austin Jasper, of Indiana, was named to the fall dean’s list at the University of Notre Dame.
He is a freshman majoring in finance in the Mendoza College of Business.
Jasper is the son of Ron and Paula Jasper, of Indiana.
Kayla Jasper, of Indiana, was named to the fall dean’s list at St. Bonaventure University, St. Bonaventure, N.Y.
Jasper is a senior biology-pre-med student and is enrolled in the St. Bonaventure-George Washington University School of Medicine B.S.-M.D. Dual Admissions Program. She will begin medical school in the fall at the George Washington University School of Medicine, Washington, D.C.
She is the daughter of Ron and Paula Jasper, of Indiana.
Justine Nicole Valenti graduated Dec. 20 from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh with a Master of Science degree in education. She is the daughter of Jeff and Maurie Valenti, of Indiana.
Valenti graduated from Duquesne University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2011, where she has been employed as a resident director since July 2012. She is a 2007 graduate of Indiana Senior High School.
Miranda Pollock, daughter of Mark and Lori Pollock, of Marion Center, achieved dean’s list recognition for the fall semester at Carlow University in Pittsburgh.
Pollock is a senior majoring in biology with a chemistry minor and an autopsy specialization. She is a 2010 graduate of Marion Center Area High School.
Kelly Ann Buggey, daughter of Kevin and Tammy Buggey, of Indiana, achieved dean’s list recognition for the fall semester at Penn State New Kensington.
Buggey is a senior in the Administration of Justice program.
