After a 10-week run on “The X Factor,” it’s the end of the road for Indiana’s Zach Beeken and his group.

Restless Road, the three-piece country group that 17-year-old Beeken became a member of at the beginning of the season, was voted off the show in the semifinal round on Thursday.

“I’m not sad. This has been the best thing that has ever happened to me and I’m so thankful to have met @ColtonPack and @Andrew_Scholz (band members),” Beeken tweeted following the announcement on Thursday’s show on Fox.

In an interview with Beeken in October, he said that “even if he doesn’t make it, he’s happy to have had the experience.”

The group was put together in a surprise twist, where Beeken, after having been voted off the show, was welcomed back in late September.

For weeks, they survived numerous eliminations, making it to the final four, and they have a few iTunes hits on the charts, including “Wake Me Up,” the Avicii cover they performed earlier this month that hit the No. 1 sales spot for the country genre.

This week, fans across the nation were able to choose what songs the contestants performed on Wednesday night’s show. For Restless Road, they chose “That’s My Kind of Night” by country artist Luke Bryan.

They also performed Hunter Hayes’ “Wanted” on Wednesday.

In a previously recorded segment of the show before their live performance Wednesday, band member Colton Pack said that “just seven or eight months ago, we were just kids in high school. Now we’re here. This is the opportunity of a lifetime.”

Though Restless Road will not move on to the final round next week, three contestants now remain on the show: Carlito Olivera, Alex and Sierra, and Jeff Gutt. Only one will be deemed to have “The X Factor” on the season finale Thursday.

“This isn’t the end of the road for Restless Road,” Pack said on the live broadcast following the news. “We’ll be back. I promise you, we’ll be back.”

“Thank y’all so much for this crazy journey,” @RestlessRdMusic said on Twitter. “We’ve had the time of our lives and are so thankful for how far you’ve gotten us. We love y’all!”
