Literacy Links for Little Ones Inc. was recently awarded $7,500 from Community Foundation for the Alleghenies Bork Family Fund.

Literacy Links for Little Ones Inc. is a local nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide quality children’s literature to Indiana County families and to educate parents about the benefits of reading to children.

The grant has made it possible for organization members to participate in story sessions offered by the Burrell Township Library, the Blairsville Public Library and the Indiana Free Library. During these sessions, Literacy Links members offer participants a free one-year subscription to “Babybug,” a magazine designed especially for infants and toddlers.
