Cemetery association seeks funds

on June 25, 2014 10:50 AM

The West Union Cemetery Association is asking for donations to maintain the cemetery that was begun in Armstrong Township prior to the Revolutionary War.

The cemetery was adjacent to the West Union Church, which closed in the 1960s when the congregation merged with the Shelocta and Curry Run churches.

Donations will be used to cover mowing and maintenance.

Checks may be made to the West Union Cemetery Association and mailed to Gerald Craig, 433 Hickory Road, Indiana, PA 15701.
