CLYMER: Borough accepts bid for sealing oil

Clymer Borough council approved a proposal for seal coating of the borough’s alleys at its regular meeting Tuesday.

The $10,486 proposal from Suit-Kote includes 7,000 gallons of sealing oil and was bid out through the Costars cooperative purchasing program through the state.

The work will be performed sometime this summer.

In other business, council:

• Set the annual community yard sale from July 3 to July 6. Permits will be waived for yard sales during this time.

• Heard from secretary Shirley Simpson that she is working on the borough’s new website, which will be revealed at the July meeting.
