Pasta buffet

PENN RUN — A pasta buffet will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Penn Run Christian Outreach Center, 75 Grace Church Road, Penn Run. The menu consists of spaghetti, penne, meatballs in sauce, sausage sauce, Alfredo sauce, lasagna, California blend vegetables, bread and dessert. Marriage counseling

The Christian Counseling Service of Indiana will offer a six-week session of marriage counseling classes from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, beginning today, in Suite 301, 637 Philadelphia St., Indiana.

Women’s Association meeting

Revival meetings

SAGAMORE — Revival meetings will continue at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Sagamore Holiness Church. The ministers will be Pastor Kal Henry and evangelist Rick Cope. Meetings are scheduled for every other Wednesday.

Valentine’s dinner

DAYTON — The Dayton United Methodist Fundraising Team is holding its annual Valentine’s dinner at 6 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Dayton United Methodist Christian Life Center.

Seats are limited and reservations are a must. The cost is $12 per person with a choice of Swiss steak or chicken breast. There will be entertainment and door prizes.

Swiss steak dinner

ROBINSON — The Helping Hands of the Robinson Evangelical United Methodist Church will hold a Swiss steak dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Feb. 9 in the church building, 332 Mary St., Robinson.

The cost is $8 for adults and $3 for children ages 5 to 12; children 4 and younger eat for free. Takeout is available.

Valentine’s Day dinner

PENN RUN — The Penn Run Church of the Brethren is hosting a Valentine’s Day dinner on Feb. 15 at the Penn Run Christian Outreach Center, 75 Grace Church Road, Penn Run.

Appetizers will be served at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m. The menu includes chicken, roast beef, baked potato, corn, green beans, tossed salad and assorted desserts.

The cost is $15 per person. Reservation should be made by Feb. 9, with payment sent to Penn Run Church of the Brethren, 2317 Route 553, Penn Run, PA 15765 to hold reservation, or call (724) 463-0420.

Gino Bartoletti is the speaker and will be doing chalk drawings.

Turkey dinner

RURAL VALLEY — The NuValley Presbyterian Church Women will hold a Presidents Day turkey dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Feb. 18.

Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling (724) 783-6982 or (724) 783-7169. There is no guarantee of availability at the door. Tickets are $8.50 for adults, $4.50 for children to age 5 and free for ages 4 and younger.

Trip to the Holy Land

The Rev. Paul Morris is planning to lead a group trip to the Holy Land. The group will depart on Nov. 10 for a 10-day trip which includes visits to Galilee, Nazareth, the Mount of Olives, Jerusalem, the Garden Tomb and more.

The travel/study program has been arranged by Educational Opportunities, a Christian tour company whose main objective is to provide pastors and laity with affordable, first-class learning experiences in the land of the Bible. The tour will include sightseeing, daily devotions and informative lectures.
