HARVEST FESTIVAL: The annual children’s harvest festival will be celebrated at Graystone Presbyterian Church from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Children age 3 to sixth grade are welcome. Story time, prizes, candy treats, and games will be supervised by adult volunteers with background clearances. No costumes please. Reservations are requested. FUNDRAISER: The fall crafts, gift and goodies show will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Homer City United Methodist Church, Corner of Main and Church streets. More than 25 tables of handmade crafts, decorations, jewelry, unique gifts, quilts, baked goods, wood crafts, baby and children’s items and more will be available. A lunch concession of sandwiches, baked potatoes and toppings, walking tacos, coffee and soda will be available from the “Not Quite 31” Women’s Ministry. Admission is free. Venders will include Silpada Designs, Avon, Thirty-One Gifts, The Milk & Honey Bake Shoppe, Kellenham Crafts, Tastefully Simple, Vickie’s Creations, Celebrating Home, Whatsoever Lovely Designs, and Sprouting Seed Baby & Children Boutique.

 

MEETING: The Keystone Doll Collectors will meet at 1 p.m. Nov. 19 at Eat’n Park Restaurant, White Township. The program will be on military and patriotic dolls.

 

CHILI LUNCH: A chili lunch will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Grove Chapel Lutheran Church, near Musser’s Nursery.

The menu includes chili, dessert and a beverage. Takeouts will be available. Donations benefit church improvements.

This event is sponsored by the Grove Chapel Lutheran Church Women.

 

COOKIE SALE: The Chestnut Hills Social Center, located at 26 Heybert Drive, Blairsville, is taking orders for their nut horn cookies.

A dozen cookies are available for $5.  Stock up now for the holiday, and remember, cookies always make a nice gift. Place your order before Dec. 2 by calling (724) 459-5251. Pick up date is Dec. 16.

 

VENDOR SHOW: Mothers of Preschoolers of Indiana is hosting a vendor show event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 30 at The Summit Church, 2707 West Pike, White Township. Tables and electric hook-up are available.

BINGO: The Elderton Volunteer Fire Department sponsors bingo every Thursday. Early bird starts at 6:45 p.m. with the regular game at 7 p.m.
