IUP ROTC cadet Brianna Hugya dispensed equipment to IUP journalism students Ellen Matis, left, Natalie Hotaling and Dave Gershgorn in preparation for a field exercise next week that will pair military students and journalism students.
Journalism students will “embed” with the cadets as they take part in a training exercise at Camp Dawson, W.Va. Journalism students will observe and participate in the exercise, while cadets will practice escorting the press on the battlefield.
