Firefighters honored at Cherryhill Township

The Cherryhill Township Volunteer Fire Company held its 2014 recognition banquet recently.

In the front row, from left, are Dave Frick, retired Indiana County Commissioner, who received a Community Service Award; Helen Markel, who received a Community Service Award; Pat Lydic, ladies auxiliary president; and Brian Keith, recognized for having more than 100 hours of training; and second row, Jody Rainey, fire chief, recognized for 30 years of service; Dave Wyne, recognized for five years of service; Junior Sabo, recognized for 10 years of service; Nathan Rainey, recognized for having the most hours of training (198); Brandon Lydic, recognized for having more than 100 hours of training; and Ned Long, recognized for having more than 100 hours of training.  (James J.
