Huge truck maneuvers through downtown traffic

A "super load" — a compressor on its way from Jeannette to New Jersey — rolled through downtown Indiana Monday morning.

Indiana Borough and IUP police blocked intersections along Philadelphia Street as it came through the borough to avoid bridges and construction zones.

The load was 150 feet long, 16 feet wide and weighed 295,000 pounds. (Tom Peel/Gazette photo)
