Ice cream truck posting locations on social media

by on April 12, 2014 10:49 AM

It’s a sure sign of spring — the Home Made Ice Cream truck is making its way around local communities.

But if you can’t hear the truck’s catchy jingles playing from your home, there’s another way to find out where you can get a tasty, frozen treat.

Home Made Ice Cream is on Twitter, and posts their locations ahead of time daily.

Plus, one winner is chosen weekly on Twitter to win the truck’s ZEEKIE ice cream sandwich. To win, you must follow @HM_ice cream, take a picture of the Home Made Ice Cream truck in action, and tweet the pictures using either of the hashtags #springinto icecream or #homemade icecream.

The next winner will be announced on Monday via Twitter.

The truck starts its rounds at 4 p.m. on weekdays and at 2 p.m. on weekends.

It is owned by Cindi and Damien Kordell.
