On the campus at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a silent reflection ceremony was held Sunday to mark the 9/11 anniversary.
Brian Butz, a freshman from Latrobe, looked at a 9/11 memorial while Ola Kaniasty, of Indiana, walked up to place flowers on the memorial, a 13-foot remnant of the World Trade Center. Three IUP alumni were lost in the attacks: William Moskal, '79; Donald Jones, '80; and William Sugra, '93.
