Indiana County Fair schedule
The 151st Indiana County Fair will run Saturday through Aug. 31 at the J.S. Mack Community Center.
Admission is $8 but there is no admission charge Sunday and before 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and before 9 a.m. Aug. 31.
Shows presented daily:
C&L Shows of Mount Pleasant (carnival), Monday through Saturday.
Train Show, Miniature Farm Show, Kiwanis Kiddie Farm, open daily.
Junk Rock Band Drumming Ensemble, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Carousel Band Organ, Monday through Saturday.
K9s in Flight Doggy Dock Diving Show and High Flying Frisbee Dog Show, Monday through Saturday on the football field.
Bar C Ranch Petting Zoo and camel rides, Monday through Saturday on the football field.
The 150th Indiana County Fair History Exhibit, all week in the Ice Rink Exhibition Building.
Noon to 7 p.m.: receiving all exhibits, except livestock and Christmas trees
$5 grandstand admission, no refunds
9 a.m.: Judging of exhibits begins
10 a.m.: Antique tractor pull
7 p.m.: Modified and farm tractor pull. Grandstand admission, $5, no refunds. ($10 hook fee, $10 pit pass and no refunds. The Carter Avenue Gate #5 is a pit entry only gate. Wristbands must be worn at all times in pit area.)

8 a.m. to noon: Receiving Christmas trees
Noon: Antique motor and machinery show
1 to 2:30 p.m.: Kids’ pedal tractor pull, ages 4-11
1 p.m.: 4-H dog show
3 p.m.: Outhouse race
4 p.m.: Antique tractor parade
5 p.m.: Crowning of Indiana County Fair Queen
7:30 p.m.: Harvest Home Service featuring 2BTrue, on the stage
Until 1 p.m.: Receiving livestock entries.
8 p.m.: Country star Craig Campbell performing on the stage. Track area is standing only, no chairs allowed.
8 a.m.: Junior Swine Show and Junior Swine Showmanship
8:30 a.m.: Draft Horse Show and Miniature Horse Show
9 a.m.: Open Dairy Show and Junior Dairy Show. Junior Dairy Showmanship Contest in the Large Arena.
Noon: harness racing
7 p.m.: Band Night, performing in front of the stage.
Senior citizens (65 and older) and military veterans (with military ID) get free admission.
8 a.m.: Sheep Show including Junior Sheep Show
Noon: Harness racing
6 p.m.: 4-H Rabbit Show
6:30 p.m.: Lead Line Contest
7 p.m.: Stock gasoline and stock diesel 4x4 pickup pull in front of stage
9 a.m.: Beef Show including Junior Show and Dairy Beef; 4-H Horse Show; 4-H Goat Show
6 p.m.: Premier Showmanship Contest/Cheese Auction; cheerleading Expo Night on the stage
7 p.m.: Log-sawing contest
8 p.m.: Milk-chugging contest following the cheese auction
8 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Horse Show
3 p.m.: 4-H and FFA trophy presentation
5 p.m.: Junior Livestock Sale, sale arena
7 p.m.: Limited Pro Stock and Smoker Series Tractors, Big Rig Semis, in front of the stage. ($10 pit pass, wristbands must be worn at all times in pit area. No refunds.
10 a.m.: Horseshoe Pitching Contest
Noon: Demolition derby. Car and driver $25, pit passes, $20, no refunds. Proof of age will be required for all drivers and pit passes. Wristbands must be worn at all times in pit area. Carter Avenue Gate #5 is a pit only entry gate.
7 p.m.: Stock-semi, tri-axle dump, performance gas and performance diesel 4X4 truck pull, in front of the stage. ($15 hook fee, $10 pit pass, no refunds. Wrist bands must be worn at all times in pit area. Carter Avenue Gate #5 is a pit only gate.)
