• Saltsburg Canal Days will begin at noon in downtown Saltsburg. Today’s events include a quilt show, duck race, crafts, food vendors and live entertainment.

• Mike Shaffer will lead a Salamander Safari from 2 to 3:30 p.m. beginning at Yellow Creek State Park’s Environmental Learning Center, 170 Route 259, Penn Run. Explore Laurel Run for salamanders and other critters.

• The Keystone Repertory Group will perform Broadway show tunes as part of the Summer Concerts in the Park series at Memorial Park. The show beings at 5:30 p.m.

The Indiana County Farmers’ Market will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the former BiLo parking lot along Wayne Avenue in White Township, across from the Kovalchick Complex. • The Artists Hand Gallery, 732 Philadelphia St., will hold Children’s Make and Take Workshops in two sessions, at 10 a.m. and at noon. The Civil Air Patrol pancake breakfast will be held both days from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. A free World War II Big Band-era hangar dance will be held on Saturday with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and the dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Food will be available.
