METER MOUNTAIN

by on February 18, 2014 10:59 AM

Rich Eddy, of Cherry Tree, climbed a pile of snow Monday to put money in a meter in the 600 block of Philadelphia Street.

As it turns out, Monday was Presidents Day, which means meters did not have to be paid.

Several more inches of snow fell overnight and this morning, prompting schools today to again close or delay classes. (Tom Peel/Gazette photo)
