Mike Brothers, foreground, and Bill Ere, volunteers from A&A Construction in Indiana, helped put new roofs on the dugouts Wednesday at the Miracle Field that’s being built at the YMCA along Ben Franklin Road in White Township.

Later this week, volunteers from T.J. Construction were to add metal to the dugout roofs. Organizers have been looking to raise $500,000 for the project. When completed, the field will host baseball games for wheelchair-bound participants. (Tom Peel/Gazette photo)
