Two roads in Indiana County are scheduled to close between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day, Monday through Friday, for full-width cold recycled asphalt paving operations.

State Route 2016, Oneida Mine Road, will close this week between Route 56 and State Route 2021, Ridge Road, in Buffington and Brush Valley townships. This road is expected to close each day for approximately seven days, weather permitting.

Once Oneida Mine Road is finished, then State Route 2012, River Road, will close each day between Route 403 and State Route 2013, Wehrum Road, in Buffington and East Wheatfield Townships. The road is expected to close each day for approximately seven days, weather permitting.

Workers from PennDOT's Indiana County maintenance center will be performing the work and it is expected to last approximately two weeks, weather permitting. The daytime detour will use Route 56 to Route 22 to Route 403.
