Pick-A-Cause 5K run and walk planned

The Indiana Junior High School Athena Club Pick-A-Cause 5-K Run and 5-K Fun Walk will be held April 26 at Blue Spruce Park.

Walk-in registration is at 9 a.m., Lollipop Kids’ Runs are at 10 a.m. with a 50-yard dash, quarter-mile and 1-mile runs, and the 5K run/walk will be held at 10:30 a.m.

The individual rate is $17 before April 19 and $20 after, which includes the race, T-shirt and goody bag. Entrants can choose to benefit the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Humane Society of Indiana County, The Salvation Army or Team RWB, a veteran’s organization.
