Craig Stuck, head dry cleaner at Buggy’s One Hour Cleaners along Philadelphia Street in Indiana, shoveled the sidewalk before opening for business this morning.

A late-winter storm dumped at least 5 inches of snow on Indiana overnight and forced the closure of all county schools, including Indiana University of Pennsylvania. The county remains under a winter weather advisory that is set to expire at 4 p.m. One to 2 inches of additional accumulation was expected this morning.

Chief Photographer Tom Peel has been photographing events in the county since 1966. He started with the Gazette while in high school and then came on board full-time in 1969. So if you do something good, bad or just interesting, he will most likely be there to take your picture. Tom can be reached at tpeel@indianagazette.net or 724-465-5555 ext. 275.
