Prevention specialist, police chief teach Alcohol and Driving Course

Courtney Hankinson, a prevention specialist for the Armstrong-Indiana-Clarion Drug and Alcohol Commission, and Chief Deputy J. Dennis Porter, of the Indiana County Sheriff’s Office, recently presented the curriculum “Alcohol and Driving Course” at the 26th annual National Prevention Network’s research conference in Oklahoma City.

This program educates high school students regarding the prevention of underage drinking before they obtain their driver’s license. It is presented to the students in Armstrong, Indiana and Clarion counties.
