Ready to walk for recognition

The first 5K “Walk for a Wonderful Life” will kick off National Suicide Prevention Week at 3 p.m. Sept. 8 on the track at the J.S. Mack Community Park, in White Township.

The walk is being coordinated by the Suicide Task Force of Indiana County. Walkers may register at www.stf32.com or by calling (724) 463-8200, ext. 11. Registration is $15 per walker and those registering by Thursday will receive a T-shirt with their registration.
