Scheduled outage postponed

REA Energy Cooperative Inc. has announced that a scheduled outage for members served by the Curry Run Metering Point is postponed until further notice due to inclement weather.

The planned outage, originally scheduled for Friday, with a weather delay date of Monday, will be rescheduled for later. The work was to upgrade lines in the area of Curry Run Metering Point, which includes the following areas: Plumcreek Township in Armstrong County, Washington Township in Indiana County and cooperative-served areas in and around Advance, Curry Run, Elderton, Five Points Road, Gastown, North Ridge Road, Rural Valley and Shelocta.

REA Energy is a full-service distribution electric cooperative serving more than 22,000 consumer-members in Armstrong, Blair, Cambria, Clearfield, Indiana, Jefferson and Westmoreland counties.
