Snow accumulation between 1 and 3 inches reported

A winter weather advisory issued Saturday had predicted snow accumulations of about 6 inches Sunday through today, but Mother Nature apparently was feeling friendly.

 The region saw a bit of snow on Sunday, with AccuWeather reporting accumulation between 1 and 3 inches for most of us.

United School District has a two hour delay this morning, while all other area school districts are operating under regular schedules.

Delays, cancellations and school announcements for Armstrong and Indiana counties are posted on SchoolCast.

A high of 17 degrees is predicted for today, and AccuWeather expects it to be mostly cloudy. No snow is predicted for the remainder of the week.
