STUDENT HELP

on February 08, 2011 3:00 AM

Kate Geiger, right, director of the Indiana Free Library, talked Monday with Indiana University of Pennsylvania students taking a class on problem solving in public relations.

The 26 students in the class, taught by Dr. Michele Papakie, second from right, will be working with the library this semester to encourage more IUP students and members of the community to use the library's services, including free Internet service and a wide selection of e-books, which can be downloaded to e-readers. Geiger visited the class on campus last week and invited them for the tour, including the children's section pictured here. More information is available at www.indianafreelibrary.com.
