Zachary Strine, a third-grader at Blairsville Elementary School, participated in the fifth annual Speed Stack Assembly Wednesday for students from third to fifth grades to help celebrate the completion of PSSA reading and math testing.

Watching Zachary are Carissa Stipcak and Marcus Raby.

Speed Stacking is part of the physical education curriculum at the school, where 12 specially designed cups are placed in pre-determined sequences to provide improved hand-eye coordination, left and right brain activation, and improved concentration. (Tom Peel/Gazette photo)
