Motorists can expect the following traffic pattern changes on the Route 85 Hoosick’s Mills Bridge Replacement Project beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday:

• Alternating one-lane traffic on Route 85 controlled by temporary traffic signals

• Minich Road/Route 85 intersection controlled by a temporary traffic signal for traffic from Minich Road to Route 85

• Minich Road posted for no left turns for buses or trucks

This traffic change will remain in place for the remainder of the project.

This project includes the replacement of the bridge carrying Route 85 over a tributary to Cowanshannock Creek in Cowanshannock Township with a concrete box culvert.

PennDOT reminds motorists to slow down and to be alert to changing conditions in the work zone. Remember to minimize distractions and drive responsibly in the work zone for your safety and the safety of our workers. Please allow extra time for your travels.

This $1,132,270 bridge replacement project is being constructed by M&B Services and is expected to be completed in September.
