ROLL SALE: A nut, poppyseed and apricot roll sale will be held Nov. 18-19 at St. Mary’s Holy Protection Byzantine Catholic Church, 279 Yellow Creek St., Homer City.
The cost is $10 each. Call (724) 479-2012 to place an order. No pickups before 2 p.m. on Nov. 18-19.
SPAGHETTI DINNER: A spaghetti dinner to benefit Big Hearts Little Hands of Indiana County will be held Friday, Dec. 6, at Grace United Methodist Church in Indiana.
Big Hearts Little Hands is a mentoring agency for at-risk youth between 6 and 17 years of age. Dinner will be served from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the church at the corner of South Seventh and Church streets. Takeouts will also be available. Dinner includes spaghetti, a salad, roll and drink. Cost is $8 for adults and $6 for children 12 and under. To make reservations, email BHLH@ icymca.org. Be sure to include your name, a contact number, time of pickup, and the number of adults and children’s dinners. Orders will be accepted until 2 p.m. the day of the dinner. RAFFLE: The annual turkey and ham raffle sponsored by the Bolivar Fire Company will be held on Saturday, Nov. 23, at the fire hall. The doors open for the event at 7 p.m. with the raffle starting at 7:30. Admission to the event and refreshments at the event are free. Along with the different items being raffled off, different small games of chance tickets will be sold. The fire company is currently selling presale tickets for five turkeys, five hams and two Walmart gift cards which will be drawn at this event. MEETING: The Keystone Doll Collector will meet at 1 p.m. Nov. 19 at Eat’n Park Restaurant, White Township. The program will be on military and patriotic dolls.
VENDOR SHOW: Mothers of Preschoolers of Indiana is hosting a vendor show event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 30 at The Summit Church, 2707 West Pike, White Township. Tables and electric hook-up are available.
