DANCE: The Indiana Ballroom Dance Club is accepting reservations for its New Year’s Eve dinner-dance, which will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Indiana Country Club. The cost is $70 per couple and includes a buffet featuring stuffed chicken, tenderloin tips and English-style cod. The Al Louis Orchestra will play for dancing as the club opens the event to nonmembers as part of its yearlong silver anniversary celebration. GROCERY AUCTION: The Spruce Community Center and Irish Mike will hold a benefit grocery auction at 2 p.m. Sunday at the center, 4352 Route 580 (Route 580 and Grisemore Road). There will be frozen and dry goods. Items include: ham, bacon, sausage, pizza, cheese, luncheon meat, canned goods, paper products, cleaning supplies and more.
STORY HOUR: The Burrell Township Library will present a story hour from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesdays. Join Ms. Roxie for stories, songs and activities for preschoolers. Caregivers must stay with their child and are encouraged to participate in songs and activities.
Upcoming dates are Jan. 7, 14, 21 and 28.
