Upcoming community events announced
FUNDRAISER: The first Mardi Gras autism fundraiser will be held from 6 to 11 p.m. Feb. 28 at the Rustic Lodge, White Township. Doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person and include an authentic New Orleans dinner and dessert, live music, door prizes, silent auction and more. Proceeds will benefit Autism Speaks.

DINNER: The Dayton United Methodist Fundraising Team is holding its annual Valentine’s Dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Dayton United Methodist Christian Life Center.
Seats are limited and reservations are a must. The cost is $12 per person with a choice of Swiss steak or chicken breast. There will be entertainment and door prizes.

MEETING: The Rainbow Diamond Glass Club will meet Feb. 10 at The Salvation Army in Indiana at 7 p.m. Club member Arnold Wolfe will give a presentation about glass paperweights.
Light refreshments will be served. The public is welcome.
DINNER: The Homer City Kiwanis will hold a spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Homer City American Legion. Proceeds go toward the Homer-Center senior scholarships. Cost is $7 for adults, $4 for children 6 to 11 and free for children younger than 6.
