Vacation Bible schools scheduled

The following area churches have scheduled Vacation Bible School:

• Ambrose Baptist Church, 22 Georgeville Road, Marion Center. “Jungle Safari,” June 16 to 19, 6 to 8:30 p.m.

• Bethel Presbyterian Church, 1470 Bethel Church Road, Indiana. “Firehouse Adventure,” June 16 to 20, 6 to 8 p.m. Dinner, 5:30 p.m. A Fun Family “Fireman’s Carnival” will follow on June 21. Pastor Terry Semsick. Committee coordinators: Michelle Good and Jane Thompson. Registrations are due by June 8. (724) 479-2465.

• Black Lick Circuit, United Methodist Churches of Black Lick, Hopewell and Strangford. June 9 to 13, 6 to 8 p.m. at the Black Lick Church. Puppets, songs, crafts, games and light snacks. (724) 248-9650.

• Calvary Presbyterian Church, Indiana. “Workshop of Wonders,” June 16 to 20, 9 to 11:30 a.m. Age 3 through fifth grade. Included will be Bible storytelling, crafts, games, music and snacks. • Dayton United Methodist Church. “Wilderness Escape,” June 23 to 27, 9 a.m. to noon. Registration is being accepted for those age 3 to grade 6. (814) 257-8951 or office@dayton-umc.org.

• Ernest Bible Church, Ernest. “International Spy Academy,” from “Answers in Genesis,” June 9 to 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. Age 3 through grade 12. The final program will be held June 13 at 7 p.m.

• Harvest Community Church, 699 Philadelphia St., Indiana. “Agency D3,” June 23 to 27, 6 to 8:30 p.m. Register at the church or online at www.harvestpa.org beginning Sunday.

• Kinport Assembly of God, 5658 Route 240, Cherry Tree. “Bible Boot Camp: The Armor of God,” June 16 to 18, 6 to 8 p.m. Registration is at 5:30 p.m. Ages 3 to 12. (814) 743-5532.

• Shelocta Community Presbyterian Church. “Wilderness Escape,” June 16 to 20, from 9 a.m. to noon. The closing service will be at the Shelocta church on June 22 at 10 a.m.

• Zion Lutheran Church, Indiana. “Gangway to Galilee,” June 23 to 27, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Age 4 through completion of grade 5. Kid-friendly meals will be served and children can enjoy Bible stories, skits, songs, games, science and crafts.
