The White Township supervisors set hours for trick-or-treating at Wednesday's meeting.

Trick-or-treat night will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Halloween, Oct. 31.

It is the same as Indiana Borough.

In other business, the supervisors:

--- Reminded the public of changes to leaf collection.

Milt Lady, assistant township manager, distributed inserts that will be sent out with sewer bills this week.

The insert reminds residents that leaves must be placed in biodegradable paper bags, available at various locations, including the Indiana County Recycling Center.

Leaves will be collected on Oct. 24 and 31 and Nov. 7, 14 and 21.

--- Heard from Chris Anderson, code enforcement officer, regarding properties in the township that he said need to be cleaned up.

There are two or three properties in violation, Anderson said. He and township solicitor Michael Delaney have started the legal process for cleanup. He declined to provide the property owners' names.

--- Set a road tour for the supervisors on Oct. 5 at a time to be determined.

--- Set a budget meeting for 3 p.m. Nov. 7 at the township office.
