Young Township's Devin Fairman claimed the annual Tim Adair Memorial MVP Award at the Indiana County Youth Legion All-Star Game that was played at First Commonwealth Bank Field in Homer City on Friday.

Fairman singled, doubled, drove in three runs and made two stellar plays at shortstop to help lead the North to a 10-5 victory over the South.

The award is named in honor of Tim Adair, who played for the Blairsville Giants and was the MVP in the first all-star game in 1991. He died in a hunting accident in December of the same year.

The award was presented to Fairman by Tim’s mother, Faith. (Submitted photo)
