Girls represent region at national ski patrol event

Two local girls, Anna Herman, of Marion Center, and Ally Peters, of Indiana, along with eight other Young Adult Patrollers, represented the Western Appalachian Region of the National Ski Patrol at the Eastern Division YAP Seminar recently at Sugarloaf Resort in Maine.

Young Adult Patrollers are ages 15 to 18 and are members of local ski patrols that offer first aid and volunteer services to the skiing public. Participants competed in four categories: outdoor emergency care, skiing, tobogganing and overall combined. Anna and Ally represented Blue Knob All-Seasons Resort.
