NFL: Giants hire Homer City native McAdoo to run offense
The New York Giants announced on their official Twitter account Tuesday evening they have hired Homer City native and IUP graduate Ben McAdoo as their next offensive coordinator.
McAdoo, 36, had spent the past eight seasons with the Green Bay Packers, the past two of which he served as the quarterbacks coach. He spent his first six seasons with the Packers as tight ends coach.
The announcement was made on the @Giants Twitter account at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
McAdoo takes over for longtime Giants' offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride, who retired on Jan. 2.
McAdoo is a 1995 graduate of Homer-Center High School.
