Twenty-three-year-old rookie Jayson Megna recorded both his first career goal and assist in the game. Defenseman Brooks Orpik assisted on all three goals. … Center Sidney Crosby leads the league in scoring and is tied for second in assists. Winger Chris Kunitz is tied for the league lead in plus-minus (plus-11), with defenseman Matt Niskanen just behind (plus-10). About the Bruins — Boston saw its four-game winning streak end with a 4-3 loss to New Jersey at home on Saturday. The Bruins held a 3-1 lead at one point, but their penalty kill gave up all four goals on the night. … The Bruins are 4-0 on the road this year. … Right wing Jarome Iginla, who spurned a trade to Boston at last season’s trading deadline in favor of a move to Pittsburgh, signed with the Bruins as a free agent in the offseason. He has eight points (2 goals, 6 assists) in 10 games. He is on a four-game points streak, as is Milan Lucic. David Krejci is on a seven-game points streak. Torey Krug has three goals in the last three games. … Goaltender Tuukka Rask (6-3) is third in the league in save percentage (.947) and goals-against average (1.56). … Forward Loui Eriksson, acquired in an offseason trade with Dallas, remains out indefinitely with a concussion.
