Notable — Pitt and Syracuse are set to face off for the 68th time, but for the first time as ACC foes. The teams have met in every season since 1955. Both teams need a win to earn bowl eligibility. ... The Panthers have won seven of their past eight games against the Orange. ... Last week, Pitt lost to North Carolina, 34-27, and Syracuse was stomped by Florida State, 59-3. ...
