DOUG ADAMSON: A grateful thank you to our community
When our son was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma (cancer) in November, it was the worst time in our lives. When you get that kind of news, you wonder how you are going to get through the next day.
But thanks to the amazing treatment he is receiving from Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and an unimaginable outpouring of support from our family, friends and businesses — including a special basketball game organized by the teachers and student body at IHS which was held at the school and played between a great group of teachers and the Pittsburgh Steelers — we have been able to find strength in our time of need.
Thank you from a grateful family to a wonderful town.
