ACCIDENTS

South Mahoning Township :: A vehicle driven by Dustin R. Passmore, 22, of Punxsutawney, collided with an Amish horse and buggy, towing a fishing canoe and driven by Roy L. Weaver, 40, of Home, around 5 p.m. Tuesday on Route 85 near Beyer, state police in Indiana reported. Police said Weaver suffered minor injuries, and his passenger, Andy R. Schlabach, 50, of Smicksburg, suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Indiana Regional Medical Center by Citizens' Ambulance. He was treated and released. The horse suffered minor injuries and was transported back to the owner's residence.

White Township

A vehicle driven by Terry R. Riddle, 29, of Black Lick, backed into a vehicle driven by Thomas A. Lane, 35, of Ebensburg, in the parking lot of the state police building in Indiana, police reported. Neither driver was injured.

East Wheatfield Township

A vehicle driven by Crissa Gardner, 39, of Mineral Point, hit a deer in the right lane of Route 22 near Gas Center Road around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday, state police in Indiana reported.

She suffered moderate injuries. Brittany A. Kinder, 20, of Johnstown, suffered minor injuries, and an 8-year-old passenger was not injured, according to police.

All three were taken to Conemaugh Memorial Hospital by Citizens' Ambulance for evaluation and treatment, police said.
