Two drivers were hurt in a rear-end collision at 5:40 p.m. Saturday on Route 286.
State police at Punxsutawney said Catherine Wilson, 51, of Cherry Tree, was driving east and following a pickup truck driven by William Bartlebaugh, 59, of Glen Campbell.
Bartlebaugh slowed to make a right turn into a parking lot and Wilson was unable to slow sufficiently to avoid a collision, police said. The front of her vehicle hit the right rear of the pickup, causing the truck to roll onto the driver’s side. Police said Wilson and Bartlebaugh were both injured. Bartlebaugh was taken to Punxsutawney Area Hospital, where he was treated and released, according to a hospital spokeswoman. No information was available this morning on Wilson’s condition.
