CHERRYHILL TOWNSHIP

A two-vehicle crash occurred on Airport Road at 8 p.m. July 20 when a car driven by David Neff rear-ended a car driven by Chad Bothell. State police reported that, when struck at a high rate of speed, Bothel’s car left the road, landing in a field along the roadside. It was not known if Neff was injured. A passenger in his car, Thomas Brocious Jr., 25, of Indiana, was uninjured. Bothell and his passenger, McKenna Bothell, 10, were uninjured.

DERRY TOWNSHIP, WESTMORELAND COUNTY

A Blairsville woman was injured in a July 26 crash along Torrance Road. State police in Greensburg reported that a car driven by Cody Meyers, 22, of Roaring Spring, hit Katherine Cobler’s car as she waited to make a left turn. The extent of the 55-year-old Blairsville woman’s injuries is unknown. Blairsville EMS responded to the scene.

Meyers was charged yesterday with driving at an unsafe speed.
